The wool from the dryer balls is so absorbent, dryer balls can reduce drying time by 10 to 25 per cent. Ultimately, over-drying can damage clothes as well as increase static. Dryer balls separate clothes better than dryer sheets, allowing hot air to circulate more evenly and efficiently, which then reduces drying time. You can also use lower temperature settings with dryer balls, which also helps reduce damage to clothes.

Tips
1. Try scenting the dryer balls by placing a few drops of essential oil (lavender, lemon, etc) on each ball. This will lightly scent your clothes!
2. Make safe and excellent fetch toys! They are great for both indoor and outdoor play as an alternative use.
3. Reduce static further by making sure clothing is not over-dried. Try taking clothes out sooner than you usually do.
